Can Galaxy Comfort Wall Coating be applied to
walls made of gypsum board and what preparation of walls is required?
Answer: Yes. If the wall is new, just prime it
with any primer or any waterproof emulsion paint. Note that the wall should be
uniformly white. Then apply galaxy comfort Wall Coating.
If the surface is old
(more than 5 years), or dump, or made from wood or have metal inside of it
(nails for example), then we recommend coating it first with any oil-based
paint, white color. Then coat it with usual emulsion paint for good adhesion.
Then apply galaxy comfort Wall Coating. Oil-based paint is needed to make the
seal between Paint and the wall. Our material is water-based and can absorb all
the negative things from the wall, like rusting for example. So you have to
protect from what is inside of the wall. Oil-based paint is the best protection
